Windmill Hill Brewing Company rebrand

The rebrand project for Windmill Hill Brewing Co saw us redevelop and redesign their logo, beer labels and their website. We also produced a series of promotional videos for them.

The company had built up quite a reputation in the local area, and beyond, for their award-winning beers but wanted a new look that was more modern, more consistent and that simplified their messaging, making it easier for buyers to select their drink of choice.

We worked closely with Gavin and Rob at Windmill Hill to understand the elements of their old logo that they’d like to keep and what we could improve. We presented a number of options and worked closely with the team to tweak these options until they were happy.

Once the logo was finalised we cracked on with the label designs and website. The label designs featured new drink names. Where once they’d been named after local landmarks, they were now to be called simply ‘Lager’, ‘Bitter’, ‘Porter’ and ‘Pale’. Seasonal specials will also be added throughout the year. To compliment this we also used a simple, bright colour palette and single colours for each type of beverage.

The website redesign streamlined all of the content from their previous website and made all the key elements easier to access. We also used updated photography, and a brand new feature video which we art directed. We made good use of this photography and videography, alongside some nice transitions to make the website both eye-catching and easy to navigate.

The rebrand has been a huge success and is now being showcased at plenty of food festivals, private events and in lots of venues across the county and further afield.
